Welcome to the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME). We are one of the leading schools of Engineering in the southern hemisphere and one of the largest, with an extensive Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and Academic population.

Engineering is the study of the mathematics, physics, computer science, materials science and design philosophy that go into the analysis, design, manufacture and operation of today's technologies. The global engineering industry leads many developments in science and technology.

The School runs a wide range of undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, as well as research and consulting activities. The school offers undergraduate degrees in the following streams of Engineering,

Bachelor of Engineering(Aeronautical)
Bachelor of Engineering(Aeronautical)(Space)
Bachelor of Engineering(Mechanical)
Bachelor of Engineering(Mechanical)(Biomedical)
Bachelor of Engineering(Mechanical)(Space)
Bachelor of Engineering(Mechatronics)
Bachelor of Engineering(Mechatronics)(Space).

As well Engineering combined degrees are offered in conjunction with Science (BE/BSc), Commerce (BE/BCom), Arts (BE/BA), Medical Science (BE/BMedSc) and Law (BE/LLB).

Postgraduate Coursework degrees are available in the areas of,

Master of Engineering (General Engineering)
Master of Engineering(Aerospace)
Master of Engineering(New Materials Technology)

and we have strong research degree programs:

Master of Philosophy
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The School is also home to a number of active research groups. Many of these groups attract external funding from government or industry research contracts and have international collaborations. The School's programs have been accredited by Institute of Engineers, Australia and we are affiliated with AIAA as a student chapter.
