Welcome to the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME). We are one of the leading schools of Engineering in the southern hemisphere and one of the largest, with an extensive Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and Academic population.

Engineering is the study of the mathematics, physics, computer science, materials science and design philosophy that go into the analysis, design, manufacture and operation of today's technologies. The global engineering industry leads many developments in science and technology.

The School is also home to a number of active research groups. Many of these groups attract external funding from government or industry research contracts and have international collaborations.
